Sometimes the ESB looks best when you can only see some of it.  This seems to happen fairly often, and I’ve been waiting for a night when the clouds are just high enough to see the bottom of the lights.  This is a long exposure, so I’m able to pick up the reflections of the buildings on the clouds, but wait until I get a shot just after a big snow.  That’s when the city glows all night.

This is the first group of runners in the 2010 New York City Marathon - the Elite Women Runners.  I watched this with my girlfriend and a couple friends on North 3rd and Bedford in Williamsburg.  Marathon runners are amazing! Kat saw a sign that read, “Do your feet hurt from kicking so much ass?”  I like that.

I just finished editing this, and I’m very excited about it! It’s my first HD Property Video Tour, and I plan on making one of these for every listing I get.  Not a lot of these are made, and I think if done properly, a video tour will get a property a lot of attention. Of course, distributing to the proper online channels will be essential, but once done, it sets a property apart.

After watching as many property video tours as I could find, I decided to try to re-create an actual showing with the listing agent (as opposed to just filming the property with a person in it). I think it works well and really shows off the apartment.

Hey, and as a side note, the place in this video is every bit as amazing as it looks. If you’re looking for a 3 Bed in Chelsea, you should definitely check this one out.

Inspired by a friend’s year long catalogue of webcam photos of the lake where I grew up in Wisconsin, I am going to start posting photos of the Empire State Building from my window in Greenpoint.  Thought Halloween would be a good night to start it!

 Thanks!

Hi, my name is Tom Keefe, and I live in Greenpoint Brooklyn. I work for Corcoran as a real estate agent in the Williamsburg Brooklyn office on Bedford Avenue. I love the job for many reasons, one of the most important being that it gives the opportunity to get back into photography. This blog is turning out to primarily focus on my real estate photography, which is really fun. Enjoy!
